2022 Band/Performer Information & Registration

Deadline: October 15th
Notified By: November 1st

Musicians or other types of performances are welcome, solo or ensemble, as long as it is kept to one hour in a freely given performance at a compatible volume suited to your porch host’s location.  Selected performers will be assigned a one hour time slot.  This leaves you time to enjoy the rest of the festival or join another band on another porch!

    The Process:

    1. Clear your schedule for Sunday, November 13th 2022 between noon and 6pm.
    2. Fill out the registration form below by October 15th.  You will know we’ve received your application if you get a response from us by email within 24 hours.
    3. Event organizers will pair selected performers with porches and send notifications no later than November 1st with all of the details you will need about your assignment and your porch host.
    4. Coordinate with your porch host about all of the logistics of your performance, e.g. space requirements, electricity needs, etc.
    5. Get the word out to everyone you know to drop on by.
    6. We are adding a “Virtual Tip Jar” feature to our website this year.  If you would like to be included, send us the QR Code or link for your PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, or Google Pay account.  We will also include this on signage in front of your selected porch.

    Day of PorchFest Requirements:

    1. Bring whatever gear you need for your performance. PAs, sound, or other equipment will not be provided for you at this event.
    2. Perform only during your assigned time slot, including sound check.
    3. Play at a sound level respectful to the neighbors and/or other performers nearby. Use common sense about your volume level and adjust it accordingly as your sound should only fill the space between the house and the curb at your given location.
    4. Be sure to bring a tip jar!  Our audiences appreciate a great performance.
    5. Mostly, have fun!  It’s a wonderful day for all.
