July Meeting Agenda 2019

We are working hard to make our community stronger and we need your help! Please join us on Tuesday, July 23rd from 6-7:30pm at First Presbyterian Church for our bimonthly Historic Brunswick NPA meeting. The First Presbyterian Church is located at the corner of Union and George. Please enter at the doors along Union Street.

  • 2. Local Business Presentation: Hand in Hand of Glynn Nonprofit Presentation of proposed Long-Term Homeless Housing Facility at former Harper’s Joy Building (old hospital) at the corner of Norwich St. and First Ave.

  • 4. NPA Objectives: Narrowing down 2-3 projects we would like to focus on doing over the next year

  2. Local business presentation: Crawford Perkins of SoGlo Guitar Gallery on Gloucester Street will give a short presentation about his new business.
  3. Preservation Board Update: Kate Sabbe will speak about the upcoming historic preservation month celebration and update about the board’s activities.
  4. Live Oak Festival: Sandy Colhard will speak about upcoming celebration at Lover’s Oak.
  5. Citywide Cleanup: Jenn George will talk about the upcoming citywide cleanup and efforts to have the NPA represented.
  6. First Friday Booth: Tyler Jones will ask for volunteers to man a booth at First Friday to help people learn more about the NPA and solicit more members.
  7. Open Forum
  8. Proposed change to bylaws: Create two alternates on Steering Committee and remove designated roles (i.e. moderator, secretary, etc).
  9. Adjourn
